A workshop on Informal Trade and Cross-Border Integration is organized at the University of Niamey, Niger, on the 7th of December 2012. The workshop will present some preliminary results from the research project CROSSTRADE funded by the National Research Fund of Luxembourg (FNR). Dear ABORNE members, We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to participate in the annual meeting of the Association for Borderlands Studies (ABS), a multidisciplinary conference dedicated to the study of borders all over the world. This coming spring 2013, the conference will take place at the Grand Hyatt in Denver, Colorado in the United States. See: http://www.absborderlands.org/2annualmeetings.html. The ABS annual meeting is always held in conjunction with the Western Social Science Association’s annual conference (WSSA). This sharing of resources lowers the costs for both associations. For this reason, you must be a current member of the ABS for 2013 as well as pay the WSSA conference registration fee, in order to attend. Questions?
